Art Classes
Weekly two-hour sessions, Beginners-Advanced, Ages 13-Adult
Summer-Fall 2026

Learn to see accurately to draw and paint realistically. Beginning projects include graphite, ink, & colored pencil, followed by painting lessons in watercolors or acrylic/oils. Materials included.
More experienced students will jump right in on media of their choice. Materials estimate: $25 and up.

Busy schedule? Two-hour one-to-one sessions, once a week. Times arranged.
Studio Information
SCHEDULE: Classes meet ten months a year; the studio is closed January and February. We do not meet during Thanksgiving or Christmas weeks, or on Easter weekend. We remain in session during public school breaks, but if people need to be away, it's easy to make those sessions up.
MAKE-UPS: If you miss a lesson, you can always attend the other class, or double-up in one week. Please schedule make-ups within two weeks of the absence to keep work and payments on schedule. No credit extended if classes are not made up within two weeks.
PRIVATE LESSONS are available, but with small classes and individualized instruction, each class is essentially a private lesson already. If you can't schedule a regular class, private lessons are available and arranged by appointment.
PAYMENT: Please pay in advance every four weeks or as scheduled. Make secure payments online or pay by cash or check at first lesson. Make checks payable to ProArts, LLC. Online statements will read ProArts, LLC. Save money paying in longer terms or taking advantage of DISCOUNTS.
MATERIALS INCLUDED: We provide everything at first - pencils, brushes, top grade studio-quality papers, and some paints - for you explore and experiment with, but eventually there are things you'll want to pick up. See Materials List below.

Yes. We can enroll you at any time. We will get latecomers up to speed. Monday and Thursday sessions are identical, so you can switch around as needed.
Again, you can double up a week or two, or schedule make-ups. We will work with you.
